It's the effort that counts

Today we celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary 3 days in advance to accommodate Felix's busy schedule. Coincidentally, it also marks our 11th year of dating.
A few days before, Felix asked me what I wanted as a gift. Do I want a necklace, or perfume...
I told him cheekily,"I want effort."
And effort I did receive - A beautiful collage of Jamie's photos taken over the past 6 months of his life. This is the first year we became parents.
So there, my gift from my wonderful husband. A big effort.
I'm a happy wife. :-)
